I am a 6 year old super sweet shih-Tzu.  I love to play with my toys and am just the class clown.  When I was surrendered to the rescue, I had hardly any hair at all and scabs all over my body from scratching all the time.  This was all caused by my allergies and was very easy to avoid with the right food and medication.  Because of my severe food allergies I need to eat a special food that only has kangaroo as the protein source (you can get this a specialty pet stores and online).  I also take a medication daily for my allergies called apaquil, this is a prescription only medication that you get from the vet.  I am WELL worth it though!!  My foster mom says I have the biggest personality and everyone that meets me just loves all my antics.
