Hi there, Raisinette is my name, wonder why they call me that! Anyway I am happy to be out of the shelter. My story goes like this....this neighbor saw me and my siblings living in horrible conditions outdoors in the cold weather! She took us from that backyard and dressed us up and brought us to this shelter. It was really nice to be in the heat and a clean area finally. Then this lady comes to the shelter and starts looking at me and talking to me, she said that I stink very bad and in need of a bath and I also need to see a vet immediatley because I have something going on with my skin. We then got in this car and she took me to her house and gave me a bath and held me in a warm towel to dry me. Then this tall man comes over and starts sharing his meal with me, yummy that was really good, there is no way I was going to eat my dog food after that meal! I spent the night indoors in a warm crate and did not make a peep until I had to go to the bathroom. They can not believe I did not have an accident in the crate, I must be smarter than the average raisen. I went to the vet the next day and got some kinda shot and dewormer again, they say that I should be feeling better in a couple days. I sure hope i get my hair back soon and get rid of the sores I have all over my little body. Everyone thinks that I might be mixed with a Shar Pei and Rottweiler, won't I be a cutie all grown up! Anyway, I have to go back to the vet in couple weeks for another shot but in the meantime I will be getting alot of baths and hopefully applications, so I can have a warm, loving place to permanently live!! ***Update.... Well I am feeling MUCH BETTER and my skin is looking better too! As you can see I need to grow some of my hair back but other than that I am ready to rock and roll and find my new home. Update....The older I get the more I look like a rottie/shar pei mix! If you want a puppy that is very smart and confident, then pick me! I am not scared of stairs, other dogs, cats, etc.. I am your baby!
