My name is Ruddy, I was pulled from the shelter in Charlotte where I was to be euthanized because I am Heartworm Positive BUT I have no microfilaria, meaning there are no babies, so the heartworms are NOT reproducing, so I am being treated every two weeks with ivermectin and there is no chance of the heartworms getting any worse, just better and no damage being done.

I am very sweet and loveable, crate trained and housebroken, a very nice well built Rottweiler.  I love to play and go bye-bye in the car.  I get along well with the other dogs and seem to have no issues.  I would love to find my new forever home where I can love and be loved and just be the fun silly class clown and show you how much love I have to give.
