My name is Floyd, I have lived my whole life chained to a tree with my brother Hugo. (these are not our names) We never had names. We are 2 yrs old. The people that owned us left us chained to our tree and moved away. The neighbors took care of us, feeding us and making sure we had water, but then suddenly our house burnt down while we were still chained to our tree. The neighbors took us in and found a good samaritan that drove us over here to the rescue. We were so scared, we had no idea there was anything out there past our tree. We are so very sweet, very playful and loving, we are interacting very well with all the people and kids and other dogs here at the rescue. We are set up to get neutered. We have all of our shots and have been bathed and started on heartworm preventative. Now we are up for adoption and hopefully we will find homes where we will be someones pet and loved and never be chained again.
