Hi, My name is Wally, I was saved from the Wake County Animal Control, The police were called that I was in the middle of a dog fighting pit. The police had to taser all of the dogs to get them off me. The fight had gone on for 30 minutes. I survived. I have had numerous surgeries and I have 4 drain tubes in me. I really didn't want to survive. They called the rescue to come and get me. They forced me to eat and IV me with fluids. They gave me so much love and attention. They did not care what I looked like, They did not care that I peed on my bedding. They kept making me get up and walk outside and I was so sore but they kept telling me what a good boy I was. Everyday they sat with me and petted me and gave me kisses and made metballs and made me eat them and poked me with needles and I just wanted to go to sleep forever. After 5 Days I started to feel a little better and I drank some water on my own and they were so excited about that so I drank some more. I then ate some food and realized I was actually quite hungry so I ate some more, I then went outside and I went and pottied all on my own and everyone was so happy and saying what a good boyI was, I went back to my bed, maybe it is ok to be here.
