The perfect dog....that pretty much describes me! I am a true testament to how great us Rotties can be. Great with people, dogs, cats, and kids. I have the greatest disposition imaginable despite having a pretty rough start in life. I am house trained, heel on a leash, mild-mannered, and full of spunk. I would be best residing in a house with smaller dogs and older kids, as large dogs and very young kids may want to play rough with me and set my healing back from the amazing progress I have made. I love to play and am the biggest cuddle bug you could ever want. My foster mommy loves to kiss all over me and love on me and I just eat it up. The ideal parents for me would be ones that have the time, energy, and compassion to make sure that I make a full recovery from having double knee surgery and then we can stroll through life together and have the best time!!
Appollo had deformities in his leg bones that caused his knees to be unstable. He has had 3 surgeries to stabilize both knees and repair a torn ACL on one side. Do not let that scare you, he is doing well and will be a normal big dog! Appollo is still recovering nicely and ready to find his family.
