Learn more about the Dachshund. I am a 6 year old Purebred Dachshund. I came into the rescue with a horrible infected eye that the vet thought someone could have thrown acid in my face. originally the vet thought my eye was going to have to be removed. The rescue spent a lot of money working on saving my eye and now my eye just has a film over it and it does not bother me sometimes I need some eye drops in it for a day or two but the vet says my eye does not have to be removed. my hair has grown back on my head and I am fit as a fiddle. I am completely housebroken up to date on vaccines wormed microchipped and going to be neutered next week. I am now ready for my new forever home. I am great with dogs big or small kids and cats I am a huge snuggle bug. If you are interested in me please fill out an application. My adoption fee is $250.00
